I understand that negative behavior of any sort is not permitted. I agree that Parents and Families of EBDC are never allowed to use vulgar language, threats or physical altercations. I pledge to be aware of communicating with Instructors. I pledge to be on time and pick my child up when classes are finished. I understand that payments are run online through my account monthly. I understand that classes are subject to change at any time. I will encourage my child to always have fun! I understand that EBDC dancers are hardworking athletes who need to be emotionally healthy, so I will be respectful, positive and supportive! I agree that if I fail to abide by any of these rules listed above that I may be subject to, but not limited by the following disciplinary action: 1. Verbal Warning 2. Suspensions 3. Immediate Dismissal.
In order for students to progress in class, regular attendance is extremely important. If a student is going to be absent, please contact EBDC and let us know. Each class is designed to give students a balanced workout. In order to be warmed up and prevent injury, please arrive on time. Tardy students will be asked to warm themselves up before participating in class. If a student is more than 15 minutes late to class, they may be asked to sit out for the entire class.
If a student is absent from class, they are encouraged to take a make up class. They have the option to choose from any of our classes whether it is the same discipline or not. If a student is absent more then once in the same month, they can only make up one class per calendar month. If a student is absent for more than 3 classes in the same month, and EBDC is not notified in advanced, only one class is offered as make up class. It is the family's responsibility to contact EBDC prior to extended absence. Once a Calendar month as surpassed, EBDC will not go back and give credit or make up classes for the past. After winter vacation, dancers will not be allowed any make-up classes as we will be preparing for our annual recital. Please call the office in advance of any absence and advise the studio which class will be substituted so proper arrangements can be made. Please schedule your make-up 24 hours in advance by email, firstname.lastname@example.org or phone 925-867-3232.
EBDC is a "paper-less" studio; all tuition will run online on the 1st of every month on the provided credit card. Tuition must be paid in full by the 1st of every month; if credit card is declined, a $5 fee will be charged; if tuition is not paid in full by the 10th of the month, a $25 late fee will be added and dancer may not be allowed to attend class(s)-no exceptions. No refunds will be given for holidays or student absences. Yearly tuition is broken into 10 equal monthly payments, it is not monthly tuition. Therefore, holidays and breaks have already been figured into your monthly payments and will not constitute a make-up. ILLNESS: If dancer is sick or becomes injured, monthly tuition will still be charged and a credit will be waiting for them upon returning back to dance class. If you want to DROP a class, you must complete an add/drop form located in the office 14 days prior to the end of the month in order to not be charged tuition for the following month. All Drop Requests must be turned in by an Adult on the Dancer's account. EBDC will not drop a dancer automatically if they have not attended classes. Right to Cancel: EBDC reserves the right to cancel any class due to lack of enrollment. Alternate classes will be offered to those who signed up for that class. EBDC also has the right to refuse service to anyone.
If your child's teacher is absent from class, a substitute teacher will teach that class. Class is never cancelled.
Our annual recital will be May 20th, 2018. A dress rehearsal will be held Monday May 14th, 2018. On the day of the Recital, EBDC will have four non- identical shows. Dancers will be assigned to their specific performance. If your dancer would like to participate in the show, please look for recital contracts that will be sent home in early December. Once costumes are ordered, there will be no refunds and costume balances must be paid.

Please arrive no more than 10 minutes before class; students should be picked up no later than 15 minutes after their class or rehearsal ends. Instructors are busy teaching other classes and are not responsible for those students who are not in class. Children should not be left unsupervised. It is extremely important to have open communication with parents and guardians. If you have any questions or concerns please get in touch with us! The best way to communicate with EBDC is through email at email@example.com. If a parent or student needs to discuss something with an instructor, please email the studio first, and if the issue cannot be resolved, schedule a phone or in-person appointment.
